He went on to receive his Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School in 2001.

Career Highlights

Ronald launched his legal career at one of Jamaica’s premier law firms, where he spent four years rising to Senior Associate in the Commercial Department. There, he built a strong foundation in corporate law, telecommunications, IP, entertainment law, and high-value commercial contracts.

He later joined LIME (Cable & Wireless Jamaica) as Legal Advisor and Head of the Legal, Regulatory & Public Policy Division, advising on all legal aspects of IP, telecoms, media, and entertainment deals. From 2008 to 2019, he co-managed the legal practice Williams & Young with Senator Arthur Williams Jnr., before founding Young Law, a boutique firm dedicated to world-class legal service with a Jamaican pulse.

Today, Ronald’s practice integrates real estate, corporate and commercial law, civil litigation, and a specialized focus in entertainment and intellectual property law.
